Integrity Policy

Varningsinfo in Sweden developed the app Mobinix with the intent to block incoming calls from telephone solicitors and businesses who conduct marketing surveys. This service is provided by Mobinix for a one-time fee which is specified before downloading of the app.

This page describes how Mobinix works and the extent to which we use or store user information.

Permissions and Core Functionality

Mobinix is designed as a call blocking and spam call identification app. In order to provide this core functionality, the app uses the following sensitive permissions:

1. Call Log Access (READ_CALL_LOG)

This permission is used to detect incoming call numbers in real time and cross-reference them with our spam call database to determine whether the call should be blocked or flagged.

2. Phone State (READ_PHONE_STATE)

Used to detect the state of the phone during incoming calls, enabling Mobinix to determine how to handle and block calls according to user preferences.

Data Handling

Mobinix does not store or transmit call data, logs, or contact information.
No personal user information is collected or shared.
All permission usage is strictly limited to the core functionality of call identification and blocking.
No data is used for advertising or analytics purposes.

User Consent

Before enabling the spam blocking features, Mobinix asks the user to grant the necessary permissions. This is essential for the app to perform its intended functionality. Users can revoke permissions at any time from the system settings.

People who decide to download Mobinix must confirm by phone that Mobinix is permitted to block incoming calls from the numbers that are included in the app. The purpose of this is so the user of the app can have the service continuously updated to prevent phone calls from additional numbers that are added to the blocked list.

The terms used in this Integrity Policy have the same meaning as in our Terms of Use, unless otherwise defined herein.

Collection of Information and Use

Mobinix does not collect any information regarding our users beyond the permissions explicitly granted for core functionality.

Google Play-Services

In order to quickly address potential problems with the app, we utilize a log which contains information regarding cell phone model information and operating system version.

Service Providers

We utilize third-party services for maintenance and updating of Mobinix, but the third-party service providers do not have access to any user information.

They are subject to a Confidentiality Agreement which requires them to maintain the confidentiality of any and all information they obtain in the performance of their work and not to disclose such information to anyone.

Safety

We appreciate your trust in providing us your personal information and we strive to use commercially acceptable methods to protect this information. We do, however, want to be transparent with you, that no transfer of information via the internet or electronic storage method, is 100% safe and reliable.
